Overview
Agadir is Berber name from Phoenician origine which means "collective Attic" or strengthened village. This word still exists in the region of Souss and is a kind of store for all the fortunes of the tribe.
Leave the vivacity of Marrakech and spend the day in one of the most famous sea resorts in Morocco.
Agadir is sunny during the whole year, the city offer, windsurfing, riding, tennis, golf, trapshooting to the sporting amateurs.
Enjoy a visit to the main monuments of the city and admire the picturesque view from the medieval Kasabah Ouflah, a citadel of 236 meter height.
You can also have a short walk on the famous beach of Agadir before visiting the valley of birds, an Argan oil cooperative and the Museum of Arts and Popular Traditions to see great exhibitions of the oldest Berber jewels, the pottery, the carpet, the woodwork and the other objects...
